What you can contribute

• Manage the proxy and firewall infrastructure, ensuring the execution of all related tasks (planning, evaluation, engineering, configuration, and operation)
• Monitor the operation of the proxy and firewall infrastructure to guarantee availability
• Independently analyze technical problems affecting the infrastructure, taking all parameters into account, and define sustainable solutions
• Design technical system models and implement them in internal projects and infrastructure projects
• Ensure the operation, maintenance, and inter-system engineering of different hardware platforms, operating platforms, and system platforms
• Contribute to the proper functioning of security-critical systems, also outside of office hours, by providing 2nd and 3rd level support and an on-call service

What makes you unique

• Training as an IT specialist, ideally supplemented by higher education in this field, or a career path deemed equivalent
• Several years of experience with network infrastructures in data centers, as well as proxy servers and firewalls
• Extensive technical knowledge of different hardware platforms and operating systems
• Proficiency in a scripting language, preferably Python, and experience in the field of network monitoring, evidenced by a certification (Fortinet)
• High sense of responsibility, analytical spirit and conceptual skills, willingness to transmit knowledge, to develop it, and to put it at the service of the team
• Good knowledge of a second official language and good knowledge of English
