Accountant
De Bethune SA is a Swiss independent watch manufacturer recognized for its know-how, innovation and quality requirements in high-end watchmaking.
We are looking for a rigorous and operational accountant to support the Head of Finance and Human Resources in the company's daily accounting and financial operations.
Main responsibilities

• Prepare and record accounting entries
• Perform reconciliations of general ledger accounts
• Supervision of auxiliary accounting
• Actively participate in annual audits (including inventory audits and financial audits)
• Respond to information requests as part of monthly reporting
• Contribute to VAT returns as well as other statutory declarations
• Participate in certain HR administrative processes (as needed)

Profile and qualifications

• Training in accounting, finance (e.g. federal certificate, or equivalent training)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting desired (experience in watch manufacturing is an asset)
• Solid technical and analytical skills
• Great sense of precision, organization and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a team in a demanding environment
• Experience with ERPs (knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC) is a significant asset)
• Mastery of Excel and Outlook required

Language requirements

• French required (professional mastery is preferred); English level B2 minimum

Work organization

• On-site presence is expected given the nature of the position. Some flexibility may be considered for a hybrid organization, depending on experience, responsibilities and business needs
