Senior Oracle eBusiness Suite (OeBS) Developer (M/F/X)

The role:
----------

For a large organization based in French-speaking Switzerland, we are looking for a senior Oracle eBusiness Suite (OeBS) developer. You will strengthen the team on ongoing projects and on the evolutionary maintenance of OeBS applications.

You will join a team of about ten professionals: project managers, service managers, and developers. Your main mission will be to design and develop solutions from functional specifications, making the most of the standard functionalities of the software package. Your expertise will allow for the delivery of solutions that are well integrated into the standard and compliant with quality requirements.

Responsibilities:
------------------

• Perform technical analysis from functional specifications, identify possible solutions and technical risks, then recommend and justify the chosen solution
• Develop in compliance with deadlines and quality requirements, and prepare and execute unit and load tests
• Regularly report to the project manager or service manager on progress, remaining work, and technical risks
• Ensure support for financial applications, from incident management to the deployment of fixes, by communicating appropriately with various stakeholders
• Apply current design, development, testing, and security standards, and contribute to the continuous improvement of practices
• Maintain up-to-date technical documentation

What we are looking for:

Training and key skills

• UAS degree, bachelor's degree in computer science, EPF engineering degree or federal diploma
• At least 3 years of experience in development on Oracle eBusiness Suite, ideally in version R12
• Expertise in SQL and PL/SQL, and good knowledge of the OeBS data model for Finance modules
• Good technical and functional knowledge of OeBS modules GL, AP, AR, PO, PA and FA
• Good mastery of version control tools (Git, SVN, etc.) and software engineering processes

Assets

• Oracle APEX development, ideally in an OeBS context
• Oracle Workflow Builder, especially procurement process workflows
• Oracle Application Framework (OAF): specific pages, extension of standard components and customization mechanisms
• BI Publisher, as well as Oracle Forms and Reports
• Experience with OeBS projects in the public sector
• Experience working in an Agile environment
