Specialist: Color Separation for Rotogravure (100 %)

ABOUT US

CD Designstudio GmbH develops decorative and surface designs for the international market. From the first sketch to the engraved printing cylinder, we accompany our customers through the entire process – creatively, precisely, and technically sound. To strengthen our team, we are looking for an experienced personality who masters both design and printing technology equally.

YOUR TASKS

– Color separation of decors and designs for the rotogravure process
– Technical preparation and support of the engraving of printing cylinders (rotogravure)
– Color coordination and quality assurance from the template to the test print
– Creation of sketches, freehand designs, and rough visualizations
– Construction of room scenes and application visualizations in the Adobe Creative Suite
– Support of customers and production partners, including on-site test print supervision
– International travel to production sites in Asia, approximately two months per year (especially China, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Thailand)

YOUR PROFILE

– Several years of experience in color separation for rotogravure
– Sound knowledge in the engraving of gravure cylinders
– Strong aesthetic sense for colors and surfaces
– Excellent knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
– Proficient craftsmanship in freehand painting and sketching techniques
– Negotiation skills and a confident appearance towards customers and business partners
– Fluent English skills in speaking and writing; German is an advantage
– Readiness and flexibility for international travel of approximately two months per year
– Experience in design, the design industry, or interior architecture is a plus
