Ittigen \| 80-100% What you can contribute <br /> • Lead the army medical services and coordinate collaboration with the civilian health system • Manage strategic choices, operational aspects, and personnel of the administrative unit of Medical Affairs and the Medical Service • Set medico-military directives regarding care, prevention, fitness decisions, training, teaching, and research • Ensure the operational availability of the army in terms of medical services and health logistics while guaranteeing the supply of pharmaceutical and medical products, in collaboration with the Army Pharmacy • Advise the Chief of the Army, the army command, the Head of the Army Logistics Base, the Head of the DDPS, and the federal government on health and medico-military issues • Represent the interests of the army medical services in leadership bodies and specialized bodies both in Switzerland and internationally <br /> What makes you unique <br /> • Military physician holding a certificate, a (federal) medical diploma recognized by the Confederation, and a doctorate or equivalent qualification; specialist physician title and several years of clinical experience in a specialized field essential for military medicine • Management training (MAS, MBA, EMBA) and several years of leadership experience in complex organizations in the health sector or similar institutions • Ability to unite different stakeholders and implement strategic projects • Significant network with Swiss health actors and partner organizations • Ideally, experience in international missions or international strategic bodies • Good active knowledge in at least a second official language and passive knowledge of a third official language <br /> In a few words The army medical services provide a crucial contribution to the security and resilience of Switzerland.
