Department of Economics, Social Affairs and Environment Your tasks Supporting people At the Belforterstrasse residential home, you will accompany adults with cognitive and physical disabilities and increased care needs. Many live with chronic, progressive illnesses and exhibit conspicuous behavior. Leadership tasks (approx. 40%) You will take over the personnel and organizational management of a team with approx. 10-15 people. Together with the management team of the location, you will promote self-organization, strengthen cooperation and support the further development of your team. Shaping everyday life You will take on tasks such as basic care, household management and the organization of the spatially integrated daily structure. In addition, you will be responsible for administrative tasks, including the maintenance of the digital client file. Collaborating As a valuable member of an interdisciplinary team, you will work towards the individual needs of our clients. You will specifically promote their abilities, create development goals and participate in the annual needs assessment. Your profile Experience You are skilled in dealing with people with disabilities, ideally also with challenging behavior. Shift work and working on weekends and holidays are part of a responsible professional understanding for you. Personality You approach clients with empathy and respect and understand how to motivate and lead a team at eye level. In demanding care situations or emergencies, you remain calm, act sovereignly and convey security. Education You have completed training as a specialist in care EFZ or BA in Social Work FH / Social Pedagogy HF and have experience in team leadership or are willing to undergo corresponding further training. Language You have a secure command of the German language and communicate clearly, empathetically and in a target-group-oriented manner.
