In this versatile position, you will take on a central role in the energy management of our plant and help shape the entire energy value chain - from procurement and generation to efficient use and recovery. You can find all global benefits here: Benefits - Visp Your tasks: Coordination and optimization of the energy value chain (procurement, generation, distribution, transformation, application, recovery) with the goal of a long-term secured, sufficient, cost-effective, and reliable energy supply, as well as support for projects in energy management; Analysis and monitoring of the various energies and emissions in the plant; Collaboration and coordination in interdisciplinary teams; Use of subsidy programs to tap into savings potential; Development of energy efficiency measures (savings potential, waste heat utilization, CO2 reductions); Process optimizations regarding energy data management; Participation in energy procurement as well as its management within the plant; Coordination and verification of energy demand reports as well as questions regarding the district heating network. Your profile: Bachelor's or Master's degree in the field of mechanical engineering, process/chemical engineering, or electrical engineering (focus on electrical energy) or an equivalent qualification; Sound German skills as well as good English skills; Ideally practical experience in industry or in an engineering office in the energy, chemical, or process engineering sector; Independent, reliable, and flexible personality; Proactive team player who enjoys interdisciplinary collaboration; Project or practical experience in the energy sector; Experience with IT tools such as MS-Office, SAP, Pipenet; Interest in data processing and in AI application in the energy sector.
