Mechanical Engineering FH/Uni Designer (m/f/d)

Patented TomBot technology, developed and built by a small team. We are not looking for a designer for ticket processing. We are looking for a mechanical engineer with a Bachelor's degree — someone who thinks in systems, doesn't file away wild ideas, but builds them. AI is a tool in our daily routine, not a special project.

What you bring with you

• Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
• You are a strong engineer: concept, CAD, prototype, assembly — you see it through
• SolidWorks is mastered, sheet metal and pipe construction are everyday business
• You naturally use AI tools (design, documentation, analysis). You actively seek out new possibilities and do not oppose them
• You prefer to decide rather than maintain processes
• German proficient, English suitable for everyday use

Nice to have

• PDM / 3DExperience (not a must)
• FEM, kinematics, mechatronic assemblies
• Startup or SME experience where you were truly allowed to make decisions

What you are allowed to do here

• Rethink and implement the TomBot mechanics — including the ideas that no one has approved yet
• Make and take responsibility for technical decisions
• Work directly with suppliers and assembly, without silos
