Senior Engineer Grid Protection Systems

You will take on the technical responsibility for grid protection systems in the high-voltage grid and accompany projects from conception to commissioning.

Tasks

• Creation of concepts, technical reports and evaluations in the field of grid protection (110/50 kV)
• Creation of setting calculations for grid protection
• Technical management and deputy deployment planning of the commissioning team
• Advising customers and developing suitable protection concepts
• Monitoring protection functionality in the grid area and deriving measures
• Fault analyses including report generation after grid short circuits
• Bid calculation and project/sub-project management in the field of secondary technology

Profile

• Completed engineering studies FH/ETH/U in electrical engineering/energy technology or equivalent training
• Several years of professional experience in the field of electrical protection systems of substations, ideally also power plants
• Professional experience in the commissioning of protection/control devices of high-voltage installations
• Good IT skills, especially MS Office
• Very good German and good English skills, French is an advantage
• Ability to provide technical guidance and knowledge transfer to employees
