In the heart of the Biel-Seeland watch region, we produce in Pieterlen with over 140 dedicated and motivated employees on state-of-the-art semi-automatic and fully automatic production systems pilot controls for pneumatic and piezo valves for flow and pressure control as well as directly controlled proportional valves for the Festo-Gruppe, a German family-owned company with over 20'000 employees worldwide.

Specialist Manufacturing Piezo and Solenoid Valves 80 - 100% (m/f/d)

What awaits you with us:

• You provide 1st and 2nd level support and resolve malfunctions in manufacturing and assembly processes
• You optimize our plant and production processes with regard to scrap, availability, and process stability
• You create and improve work and inspection instructions
• You create test reports, analyses, and malfunction reports
• You train our production employees in process and plant topics

Must have:

• You have a completed technical education (e.g., automation technician, mechatronics technician, electronics technician, polymechanic) and have additionally completed further training (HF or FH) in the field of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or industrialization
• You are a doer, contribute your experience, and share your expertise with all stakeholders
• You are not too good to actively participate and look at and solve problems on-site
• You enjoy optimizing processes, plants, and workplaces

It is also not wrong if you are familiar with the following terms:

• Process capability proofs and measurement uncertainties
• Evaluation of data (for example in Python or Minitab)
