Road Project Manager We are recruiting, on behalf of our client, a Civil Engineering Project Manager, to strengthen a team recognized for its expertise in the design, development, and realization of complex infrastructures. Our client is a civil engineering firm established in Switzerland, working on large-scale projects in the fields of road, rail infrastructure, and civil engineering works. Your role You take full responsibility for infrastructure projects, from the initial study phases to the commissioning of the works. As a true conductor, you ensure the coordination of internal teams, specialized consultants, companies, and project owners. You are the guarantor of the proper conduct of mandates in terms of technical, financial, and organizational aspects. Your function requires a global vision of projects as well as a strong capacity to anticipate issues related to planning, costs, risks, and execution constraints. You ensure a constant balance between technical requirements, client expectations, and operational imperatives. You also act as a privileged interlocutor for the various project partners and actively contribute to the quality of relationships developed with public collectives, authorities, and construction stakeholders. Your responsibilities You manage the studies and the different design phases of the projects, ensuring their technical and economic coherence. You ensure the general planning of mandates and coordinate all stakeholders to guarantee compliance with deadlines, budgets, and defined objectives. You supervise tender procedures and support project owners in processes related to public procurement. You ensure works management and site supervision, with a regular presence on the ground to guarantee the quality of realizations and the good management of interfaces. You supervise and support project teams, promote the flow of information, and contribute to the skill development of employees. Finally, you actively participate in technical reflections and the development of innovative solutions responding to current challenges of mobility, sustainability, and spatial planning. Your profile You hold a degree in Engineering EPF, HES or equivalent recognized in Switzerland, or a Technician ES training completed by solid professional experience. You have at least five years of experience within a civil engineering firm in Switzerland, with significant exposure to project management and works management in the field of road and/or rail infrastructure. You master VSS and SIA standards as well as procedures related to public procurement. A good knowledge of the Swiss regulatory environment is a prerequisite for this function. You are comfortable with project management tools and notably master the Messerli software. Beyond your technical skills, you are recognized for your sense of organization, your rigor, your ability to make decisions, and your ability to unite different stakeholders around common objectives.
