Bern, Switzerland (and home office) | 80-80% What you can contribute to <br /> • Develop technical and methodological standards for provenance research in the museums and collections of the Federal Office of Culture and advance their institutional implementation • Carry out specialized monitoring of provenance research results provided by museums and validate them • Coordinate collaboration with museums, specialized services, and external experts • Participate in the grant award process (standards, calls for tender, and controlling) • Develop decision-making bases and technical reports for the section management and office management <br /> What makes you unique <br /> • Degree from a university of applied sciences in art history, history, ethnology, museology, or a related field • Several years of experience in provenance research, particularly in the field of art looted during the National Socialist era • Solid knowledge of international provenance research principles and specific standards in this field • Experience in developing and applying specialized standards and quality assurance processes • Excellent analytical skills, ability to develop responses to complex and sensitive issues • Active knowledge of two official languages and passive knowledge of the third <br /> In a few words You actively contribute to shaping the Confederation's policy on provenance research and developing common standards and consistent practice in federal museums and collections.
