What you can achieve • On-site construction management: Supervision of all work on the construction site according to plans and contracts • Scheduling: Creation and ongoing control of the construction schedule and intermediate deadlines • Devising: Preparation of detailed bills of quantities according to the Swiss Standard Item Catalogue (NPK) • Cost control: Monitoring the budget, checking invoices, and managing the construction accounting • Tendering: Obtaining, comparing, and negotiating quotes from tradespeople and contractors • Quality assurance: Ongoing control of the construction execution to avoid construction defects • Interface coordination: Coordination between architects, specialist planners, contractors, and authorities on site • Defect management: Systematic recording of defects during the construction acceptance and monitoring the rectification • Occupational safety: Enforcement of SUVA regulations and safety measures on the construction site • Warranty management: Care of the construction object during the first phase after the handover of the keys What you bring with you • Basic training: Completed vocational training in construction, ideally as Maurer EFZ, (Hochbau)Zeichner EFZ or comparable • Further education: Federal Diploma as Dipl. Bauleiter Hochbau (HFP) or shortly before completion • Professional experience: Several years of practice in on-site construction management and construction site organization of Swiss structural engineering projects • Knowledge of standards and NPK: Sound knowledge of Swiss construction law and the common SIA standards (especially SIA 118) as well as proficient handling of the Standard Item Catalogue (NPK) for devising and work preparation • Software skills: Confident use of Swiss construction administration software (e.g., Messerli, Delta Project) and MS Project • Leadership competence: Assertiveness and skill in leading and coordinating tradespeople and subcontractors • Communication: Business fluent German skills as well as clear, solution-oriented communication with planners and clients • Way of working: High awareness of quality and costs with a structured, independent and resilient way of working • Readiness for occasional on-call service Salary and benefits The RUAG Real Estate AG is a real estate competence center and subsidiary of RUAG MRO Holding AG.
