Data Scientist

An insurance company is looking for a talented professional as a Data Scientist to complement its team.

Tasks

• Working in interdisciplinary teams that achieve real impact with data
• Working with complex and diverse datasets to solve practical problems
• Development of data science products and solutions for customers and for the internal data science team
• Writing highly optimized code
• Collaboration with professionals from Machine Learning, Engineering, and Design

Profile

• Master's degree in a STEM subject (Mathematics, Computer Science, Natural Sciences, Engineering)
• Experience with statistical modeling and machine learning methods
• Programming experience in at least two of the following languages: Python, Scala, SQL
• Experience in applying data science methods to business questions
• Experience with advanced analytical and statistical methods in business
• Good presentation and communication skills, also to make complex analyses understandable for non-specialists
