Senior Lead Engineer Process Automation

As technical lead, you are responsible for the engineering activities in large-scale industrial process automation projects and accompany them from planning to commissioning.

Tasks

• Overall technical responsibility for engineering deliverables towards customers and authorities
• Close cooperation with customers for solution design and continuous improvement
• Support for project management in risk and opportunity assessment as well as measures
• Leadership and coordination of all engineering disciplines in projects of medium to high complexity
• Participation in installation, commissioning and on-site activities including troubleshooting
• Creation of technical documentation, cost calculations and proposal content

Profile

• Profound experience with large-scale industrial distributed control systems (DCS) and comparable systems
• 8-10 years of experience in engineering and commissioning of large process automation projects
• At least 2 years of experience as Lead Engineer for teams of 5-10 engineers
• Knowledge of IEC 61850, TCP/IP, fieldbus protocols (Profibus, Modbus) and OPC
• Understanding of cybersecurity practices according to IEC 62443
• Experience with energy and power management systems including SW/HW design
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering, industrial automation or related technical field
• Business fluent English skills in speaking and writing
