Head of Prototype Industrialization (M/F) Patek SA Genève Head of Prototype Industrialization (M/F) Mission As part of this function, attached to our Development & Industrialization Department, you will be responsible for analyzing the feasibility and manufacturing of prototypes (dials and appliques) with a view to their future industrialization. Responsibilities Exchange with the Creation department to establish dial prototype requests. Participate in defining production processes, feasibility studies, and develop production files Be the guarantor of the basic data created in the ERP & PLM (ranges, nomenclatures, technical criteria, and other basic data allowing the manufacture of prototypes). Define the means to be employed for the launch of prototype manufacturing (posings, tooling, sub-assemblies, supplies, etc.). Coordinate the progress of OFs and orders during the product development phase. Be responsible for validating the prototype with the Creation department (conformity of delivered products). Pilot the manufacturing of each prototype in project mode, with the collaboration of a multidisciplinary team (ERP basic data, industrialization manager, quality, logistics, production, prototype). Guarantee the quality of all project product deliverables according to standards. Organize and lead recurring project follow-up meetings and occasional technical sessions (development, production, quality, prototype, etc.). Provide regular reporting on project progress to internal clients and/or PMO. Sought-after profile Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Micro-mechanics or equivalent degree. 2 to 3 years of minimum experience in a similar position and ideally in the high-end dial sector. Project management skills. Very good knowledge of manufacturing means. Knowledge of CAD (ideally Solidworks) and basic data. Good knowledge of quality tools (8D, SPC, etc.). Mastery of office tools (MS Office) and good use of an ERP. Analytical mind and critical spirit. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively Diplomacy and team spirit.
