As a Project & Portfolio Manager / Consultant in the field of AI process automation, you steer initiatives from idea to implementation, advise specialist departments and IT stakeholders, and create transparency across the entire portfolio. You help to translate the potential of AI and automation into measurable business value. For this position, we are looking for an experienced professional in Chur.

YOUR TASKS

• You steer and prioritize AI, automation, and process transformation projects across the entire portfolio.
• You manage group-wide allocation projects and budgets and coordinate cooperation with all internal and external stakeholders.
• You are responsible for the international visibility and success of group-wide initiatives and promote cooperation, knowledge exchange, and the transfer of innovations between the companies of the Würth Group.
• You coordinate operational tasks, action lists, milestones, dependencies, responsibilities, and follow-up activities.
• You create offers, effort estimates, service descriptions, project proposals, and the associated commercial documentation.
• You monitor and steer projects regarding scope, schedule, budget, resources, quality, and deliverables.
• You create status reports, dashboards, forecasts, and variance analyses; you identify and escalate risks and deviations.
• You advise stakeholders, moderate workshops, and support the prioritization and evaluation of automation potentials.
• You ensure uniform governance, documentation, benefit tracking, and continuous improvement across all initiatives.

YOUR PROFILE

• Completed studies in business administration, business informatics, informatics, or a related field.
• Initial experience in project or portfolio management, consulting, business transformation, or a comparable function.
• Practical experience in task management, offer preparation, project monitoring, and project controlling.
• Knowledge in the areas of AI, process automation, process optimization, or digital transformation is very desirable.
• Strong skills in planning, analysis, and stakeholder management, as well as in translating complex topics into clear decisions.
• Curiosity about new technologies and a strong willingness to learn are prerequisites for this position.
• Experience with agile methods as well as project management or collaboration tools such as Jira or SAP PPM.
• Very good communication skills in English; German skills are an advantage.
• You are open to occasional travel (around 20%) within the Würth Group, e.g., for exchange with international stakeholders.
• Structured, reliable, and independent way of working with a pragmatic and implementation-oriented mindset.

CERTIFICATIONS

• A project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, IPMA, or an equivalent qualification is desirable.
• An agile certification or experience with Scrum and other agile implementation methods is an advantage.
• Certifications or practical experience with Microsoft Power Platform, UiPath, or AI automation are a plus.
