Team Leader: Production You work 100 % in Zug – with annual working hours in regulated day-time operation without shift work or on-call duty Team Leader: Production V-ZUG Manufacturing In our Manufacturing department, top performance is created every day. Modern technology meets handicraft precision here and forms the basis for high-quality products that delight our customers. Sheet metal parts with the highest accuracy are produced on impressive complex machines, with toolmaking being the backbone of this production. This is what the position offers You lead the toolmaking team with around 10 employees You ensure a working environment where responsibility is taken, open feedback is a matter of course, and good performance is promoted You are strongly involved technically and are responsible for the timely and quality-related production of tools, fixtures, and spare parts. Thanks to your technical understanding, you can discuss, question solutions, and get involved yourself if necessary You take on a central role in production planning, AVOR, and master data maintenance: You plan and prioritize orders, coordinate capacities, and ensure realistic deadlines. At the same time, you maintain and optimize relevant master data, structures, and work plans in SAP and ensure high data quality You develop your team technically and personally. You recognize potential, address challenges openly, and actively accompany changes. You bring in new ideas and motivate an established team for new goals and visions In daily shopfloor management, you keep an overview. You analyze deviations, initiate suitable measures, and ensure their implementation. You lead with clarity, numbers, and facts – without losing touch with the team Together with the Head of Toolmaking, you develop the area further – and in the medium term. You bring in ideas, question existing processes, and actively drive the continuous improvement process This is what you bring to the position You have completed an apprenticeship as a toolmaker, polymechanic, or in a comparable field, as well as further training as a process specialist You have leadership experience and understand leadership as a daily task. You set ambitious goals, provide orientation, and remain calm and decisive even in challenging situations You think entrepreneurially, act solution-oriented, and have the ambition to continuously increase performance. You combine a hands-on mentality with strategic foresight You see change as an opportunity. You have the energy and persuasive power to inspire the team for new goals, standards, and ways of thinking You have very good IT user skills, ideally in SAP and adjacent systems Experience in work preparation and/or production control is a plus – but more important is your holistic understanding of manufacturing processes You communicate clearly, directly, and respectfully.
