School Cleaning Staff & Deputy Caretaker

The municipality of Vaz/Obervaz with around 2'700 inhabitants operates a modern, lively school with a versatile infrastructure – from the school building to outdoor areas to the triple-purpose hall and a cultural hall.
To ensure that daily school life runs smoothly for children, teachers and external users, commitment, sense of responsibility and technical skill are required.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for at the Lenzerheide location

SCHOOL CLEANING STAFF - DEPUTY SCHOOL CARETAKER (60 - 70%)

What awaits you:

• Maintenance and cleaning of school buildings, outdoor areas, the cultural hall and the triple-purpose hall
• Minor repairs to furniture, buildings, tools and machines
• Ensuring cleanliness and safety during events
• Assistance in the organization and preparation of events and occasions
• Deputizing for the main school caretaker during holiday absences and other absences
• Care of the outdoor area including winter service
• General cleaning and caretaker tasks

What you bring with you:

• Ideally experience in building cleaning and building maintenance
• Good physical condition, technical know-how and manual dexterity
• Willingness for irregular work assignments (including on-call service)
• Enjoyment in dealing with children, teachers and customers
• Good German skills
• Driving license category B desired
