We are currently looking for a Setter for our Jewelry/Watchmaking/Industry sector. Setter (M/F/D) at 100% Your mission The setter executes setting work on specific installations and/or machines in order to ensure the production of products. He or she is responsible for correcting and controlling the manufacturing processes. He or she guarantees manufacturing quality, compliance with deadlines, and productivity. He or she may be required to work in several sectors. Your activities Production Perform the setting of one or more machines Follow production (launch, monitoring, feeding) Manage first-level maintenance Intervene in case of "simple" breakdowns Contact the maintenance service in case of breakdown Fill in production monitoring documents in the system and collaborate closely with the latter Maintain order and cleanliness at the workstation Load \& unload machines Propose solutions for improving Quality, Cost, and Deadline performance Quality \& Control Correct all manufacturing process deviations Perform part control according to instructions and/or documents Clean and maintain machines Ensure the proper functioning of the tooling from the beginning to the end of the series Hygiene \& Safety Respect, know, and apply hygiene and safety rules Apply the safety charter Communication \& training Participate in continuous improvement (AIC, working group) Collaborate with operators Communicate all problems to his/her hierarchical superior Support his/her superior and the company in the field of internal training Professional \& personal skills: Rigorous \& methodical Aptitude to meet production objectives Manual dexterity Ability to control Sense of organization Autonomy Communication Spirit of initiative Speed of execution Flexibility and versatility Demonstrate common sense Honesty Respect Base and continuous training: CFC in a mechanical trade or equivalent training Experience in machine setting desired Mastery of the use of conventional control devices Reading of technical drawings Basic IT knowledge (data entry) Place of work: Vallorbe Start of activity: immediately Type of contract: CDM (duration to be defined) Hours: Day If you meet these criteria and the challenge related to the position awakens your interest, we invite you to apply by sending your complete application (CV, certificates, cover letter, diplomas...) to: Write an email (<>) or directly via the advertisement.
