For our client, an established non-profit organization with social commitment, we are looking for an experienced and strong leadership personality as Head of Logistics East Region (m/f/d). In this responsible function, you will take over the operational management of regional logistics, further develop your team, and ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality processes.

Head of Logistics East Region (m/f/d) ###

Your Tasks ###

• Ensuring the daily implementation and compliance of the defined logistics processes in the region
• Leadership, development, and appreciative support of a versatile team of around 30 employees
• Organization of daily briefings and checkpoints to ensure quality, hygiene, safety, and efficient processes
• Forward-looking planning of personnel resources on a monthly, weekly, and daily basis
• Planning and coordination of tours as well as daily assignments
• Ensuring the availability, maintenance, and efficient use of vehicles
• Monitoring data quality in warehouse management as well as relevant KPIs
• Analysis of key figures and derivation of suitable measures for process improvement
• Ensuring a smooth flow of information between the various responsible parties and teams
• Processing and clarification of complaints in the area of food quality
• Active participation in regional and national projects, especially in the areas of digitalization and innovation
• Participation in budget and investment planning
• Conducting regular visits to distribution points in the region
• Taking on special tasks and project assignments on behalf of the national logistics management
• Readiness for occasional Saturday assignments per year during special events or in operational business

Your Profile ###

• Completed further training as a logistics specialist, logistics manager, or comparable qualification
• Several years of leadership experience, ideally with responsibility for around 30 employees
• Strong leadership competence combined with empathy and an appreciative view of people
• High problem-solving competence as well as a pragmatic and solution-oriented way of working
• Strategic thinking paired with implementation strength in daily operations
• Enjoyment of change, digitalization, and the development of innovative solutions
• Independent, structured, and self-responsible way of working
• Strong team and communication skills
• High awareness of quality, safety, and responsibility
• Willingness to actively further develop processes and implement improvements sustainably
• Identification with the values and mission of a non-profit organization
