Requirements

• Professional experience in the field of logistics, event, catering, gastronomy, or a comparable environment
• Practical and technical understanding
• Good organizational skills
• Independent and reliable way of working
• Good communication and manners
• Physical resilience
• Resilience during high workloads
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and irregular shifts
• Driving license category B is an advantage
• Good German skills

• Proper return and storage of material
• Reporting of missing, damaged, or defective material

Job Objective

The Logistics Specialist Event & Catering L2 ensures smooth material and event logistics during the preparation, implementation, and post-processing of events.

The focus of the function is on provision according to the packing list, the transport and provision of material, as well as the setup and dismantling of events. At the same time, the function supports goods and delivery logistics and can take over all tasks in the logistics area if necessary.

Main Tasks

• Assembling the material required for events according to the packing list
• Checking material, quantities, and completeness
• Provision of crockery, glasses, cutlery, tablecloths, and other event material
• Provision of beverage, bar, coffee, and event equipment
• Transport of material to the respective event location
• Return and storage of material after the event
• Setup and dismantling of event infrastructure
• Setting up and clearing away tables and high tables
• Setting up and dismantling buffet, bar, and coffee stations
• Provision and dismantling of music systems and technical equipment
• Provision of furniture and other event equipment
• Proper return of all material after the event ends
• Checking material for completeness and damage
• Supporting the event management with all logistical tasks
• Ensuring the availability of material and equipment during the event
• Supporting short-term conversions and adjustments
• Coordination of smaller logistical concerns on site
• Supporting service and kitchen with logistical tasks
• Supporting goods deliveries and pickups
• Receiving and transporting goods and material
• Supporting internal goods logistics
• Taking over the tasks of L1 if required
