Project Engineer Process Technology for Pharmaceutical/Biotechnological Plants (m/w/d)

In this position, you are responsible for the planning and implementation of exciting projects in the pharmaceutical industry. Your area of responsibility includes planning a defined project scope, for example, for a specific area or a series of equipment and systems. Through regular exchange with our customers, you ensure that all requirements are implemented and budget and schedule are met. The process units, areas, and systems to be supervised range from small to medium-sized projects with corresponding complexity. What to expect: You coordinate the collaboration with internal and external engineers, customers, construction managers, partners, and suppliers You structure, prioritize, and delegate complex tasks independently in the team You communicate effectively and regularly with customers or suppliers You are responsible for creating, documenting, and evaluating mass and energy balances You identify deviations from the agreed project scope as well as changes in design direction and, if necessary, pass them on to the discipline or project manager. You have in-depth experience in creating common project documents and can support other colleagues in this regard You create block flow diagrams (BFDs), process flow diagrams (PFDs), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) You create technical documentation and functional specifications for process equipment and qualification requirements You conduct technical bid evaluations You also take on additional tasks based on your experience and technical skills, such as: FAT (factory acceptance tests) Risk analyses HAZOP/HCCP or similar safety analyses Management of supplier packages Review of 3D models and coordination Solutions for 3D model collisions You act as a mentor for younger team members Our office is located no more than ten minutes from Basel SBB main station and offers flexible possibilities in terms of commute and catering.
