In an interdisciplinary team of experts, you develop strategies and concepts for destinations, cantons, tourist organizations and private service providers. You analyze tourist demand, guest structures, offer development and sustainability impacts. In doing so, you take into account ecological, social and economic aspects: from climate, resources and mobility to acceptance, quality of life and participation to regional value creation and sustainable business models. You prepare results in reports, presentations and decision-making bases in a clear and target-group-oriented manner. From the beginning, you take responsibility for varied projects in small, agile teams - always with room for your ideas, your personal development and your own style. You actively contribute, learn new things, take responsibility and grow step by step - in an environment that prioritizes cooperation and mutual appreciation. Additionally, you will be involved in offers, project acquisition and the further development of our field of tourism and sustainable development at EBP. Your competencies <br /> • University degree (uni, FH) at master's level in tourism, social, political or economic sciences • 2--3 years of professional experience at the interface of tourism, sustainability and regional development • Understanding of tourist systems, in particular destinations, public clients, service providers, mobility, guest structures and regional value creation • Understanding of social sustainability in tourism, in particular population perspective, quality of life, usage conflicts, labor market and skilled worker topics • Initial knowledge of tourist sustainability programs and standards such as Swisstainable, GSTC, Green Destinations or TourCert as well as ESG and climate standards such as GRI, ESRS/CSRD, GHG Protocol or ISO 14064-1 are an advantage • Enjoyment of further developing tourist, economic, social and societally relevant subject areas with customers and partners • Enjoyment of interdisciplinary work with specialists from different subject areas at the interface to tourism and sustainability (environment, resources, climate, spatial planning, etc.) • Team-oriented, open and creatively thinking personality with pronounced initiative • Careful, timely and cost-effective processing of assigned work tasks • Very good oral and written expression, appreciative communication with the most diverse groups of people • Stylistically secure in German, good to very good English skills, good knowledge of French.
