As an apprentice, you are an important part of the workshop from your first day. You learn the craft from the ground up, from repairing to turning and drilling to welding, and ensure with your skills that the machine park runs reliably. Your tasks <br /> • You maintain and repair motorized machines and devices. • Drilling, turning and welding are part of your daily tasks. • You locate faults in mechanical/hydraulic and electrical system parts and manufacture spare parts. • In addition, you carry out adjustment and testing work on devices of all kinds. • You are in contact with various customers. <br /> Your profile <br /> • You bring manual dexterity as well as technical understanding. • You work independently and reliably and enjoy contact with customers. • You are a secondary school student level A or B with good performance in mathematics/physics and geometry. <br /> The city of Luzern is part of the LUnited vocational training network. You remove defective or worn-out motors and gearboxes, disassemble them into their individual parts, clean the components and renew the defective parts. If necessary, you manufacture spare parts yourself and convert standardized machines upon request.
