About the role After intensive in-house and on-site training with customers, you will take over international assignments independently. You will look after our printing systems on-site, conduct customer training as well as maintenance and service work. In doing so, you will work with state-of-the-art technology in the areas of printing solutions, automation, mechanics, electronics, and software integration. You will integrate new machine generations at international customers, represent our company on-site, and be supported by a motivated, collegial team. Main tasks and responsibilities Installation, network integration, commissioning, and validation of our flexo and digital printing systems as well as printing inspection systems (black and white and full color printing) Carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance work on Hapa printing presses Installation and validation of software and hardware upgrades Initial instruction and training of customer personnel (machine operators and maintenance staff) International assignments and travel to our customers What you bring Completed vocational training as a mechatronics technician or automation technician (ideally supplemented by technical further education at FH (HF) / ETH level) Willingness to travel of at least 80% (service assignments usually last several days, rarely up to 3 weeks) Very good knowledge and practical experience in electrical engineering, control technology, information technology, and general fault analysis Very good PC, PLC, and network knowledge Very good English skills Good German skills (other foreign languages are an advantage) Willingness to build competence for practical applications in industrial printing technology High commitment, customer and service orientation, as well as great flexibility Enjoyment of daily contact with international customers, high social competence, and an independent way of working Professional experience as a Field Service Engineer in field service is desirable What we offer Hapa offers you an attractive and future-oriented workplace, with continuing education opportunities, talent programs, and development opportunities, as well as other contemporary employment conditions.
