How you can make an impact with us * Independent planning, coordination, and timely processing of vehicle procurements for the fire brigade organizations in the Canton of Zurich * Technical advice and support for the fire departments during the procurement of new emergency vehicles * Preparation of subsidy approvals as well as creation and coordination of submission-compliant tender documents * Development and review of vehicle specification sheets and loading lists in cooperation with the involved specialist groups * Ensuring complete, traceable, and up-to-date documentation of ongoing procurement transactions * Preparation and evaluation of key figures, statistics, and decision-making bases * Creation and monitoring of the budget for vehicle procurements * Representation of the fire department division in working groups, at specialist trade fairs, as well as at vehicle inspections and handovers * Participation in projects and active contribution to the further development and optimization of fire brigade vehicles. What you bring with you * Completed technical vocational training, preferably in the field of vehicle or commercial vehicle technology, supplemented by further training in commerce or business administration * Strong technical understanding, especially in the field of vehicle and commercial vehicle technology * Experience in project management as well as in the independent coordination and monitoring of complex procurement processes * Good knowledge of public procurement law is an advantage * Independent, structured, proactive, and reliable way of working * High commitment to meeting deadlines, time limits, and agreements * Strong-communication personality with a proactive, transparent, and audience-appropriate manner of expression * Innovative mindset and strong cost awareness * Good knowledge of the fire brigade system, ideally with experience in a senior management position of a fire brigade organization * Driver's license category C or C1-118 Flexibility and freedom: We offer flexible working hours with compensation options, home office, at least five weeks of vacation, and generous long-service gifts.
