Road Project Manager

We are recruiting, on behalf of our client, a Civil Engineering Project Manager, in order to strengthen a team recognized for its expertise in the design, development, and implementation of complex infrastructure. Our client is a civil engineering firm established in Switzerland, intervening in large-scale projects in the fields of road infrastructure, railway, and civil engineering works. Its development is based on an approach combining technical excellence, proximity to its partners, and the ability to lead demanding projects in compliance with the highest quality standards. Your role You take full responsibility for infrastructure projects, from the initial study phases to the commissioning of the works. As a true conductor, you ensure the coordination of internal teams, specialized contractors, companies, and project owners. You are the guarantor of the proper conduct of mandates in terms of technical, financial, and organizational aspects. You require a global vision of projects as well as a strong ability to anticipate challenges related to planning, costs, risks, and execution constraints. You ensure a constant balance between technical requirements, client expectations, and operational imperatives. You also act as a privileged interlocutor for the various project partners and actively contribute to the quality of relations developed with public communities, authorities, and construction stakeholders. Your responsibilities You manage the studies and the various design phases of projects, ensuring their technical and economic coherence. You ensure the general planning of mandates and coordinate all stakeholders to guarantee compliance with deadlines, budgets, and defined objectives. You supervise tendering procedures and support project owners in processes related to public procurement. You ensure work direction and construction site monitoring, with regular presence on the ground to guarantee the quality of realizations and proper interface management. You supervise and support project teams, promote the flow of information, and contribute to the skill development of employees. Finally, you actively participate in technical reflections and the development of innovative solutions responding to current challenges of mobility, sustainability, and spatial planning. Your profile You hold a degree in Engineering EPF, HES or equivalent recognized in Switzerland, or a Technician ES training completed by solid professional experience. You have at least five years of experience within a civil engineering firm in Switzerland, with significant exposure to project management and work direction in the field of road and/or railway infrastructure. You master VSS and SIA standards as well as procedures related to public procurement. A good knowledge of the Swiss regulatory environment is a prerequisite for this function. You are comfortable with project management tools and specifically master the Messerli software.
