These tasks will inspire you

• You are responsible for daily transport, deployment, and route planning, as well as personnel and vehicle dispatching
• Ensuring optimal utilization and on-time delivery
• Continuous optimization of processes, structures, and interfaces in cooperation with adjacent areas
• Co-responsible for operational decisions, escalation management, and leadership of around 45 employees
• Participation in projects, especially the new TMS/WMS landscape
• Taking over and responsibility for daily operational business if required

We look forward to this profile

• Several years of professional experience in dispatching and, advantageously, initial experience in a leadership role
• Further training in the field of transport and logistics, ideally with a federal certificate
• Sound knowledge in dispatching and transport control
• Strong leadership and social competence as well as a solution-oriented, positive basic attitude
• High IT affinity and willingness to invest in digitalization
• Willingness to work in shift operations (05:00–14:00 / 13:30–22:00) during holiday absences and personnel shortages, as well as performing Sunday service once a month
