Job description:

• Manufacture of demanding and complex glass apparatuses at the bench burner as well as at the lathe and rolling bench
• Processing of custom individual productions as well as serial products
• Technical support and further development of employees and apprentices
• Implementation of coachings as well as practical knowledge transfer within the team
• Gradual assumption of a central expert role for demanding questions in apparatus glass construction
• Collaboration on development projects and on the introduction of new manufacturing technologies
• Support in the manufacture and further development of molds, tools and gauges
• Participation in ensuring and further developing high quality standards

About the customer:

In this role, you combine operative hands-on work with an increasingly central function as a technical contact person and knowledge mediator within the team.

You already bring sound experience in apparatus glass construction and want to develop perspectively into an internal technical expert who accompanies complex issues, passes on knowledge and specifically supports colleagues.

Requirements:

• Several years of professional experience in apparatus glass construction or in the manufacture of complex technical glass apparatuses
• Very good practical experience at the bench burner as well as at the lathe and rolling bench
• Strong technical understanding and enjoyment of demanding manual tasks
• Interest in developing into a technical reference person within the team
• Enjoyment of coaching, knowledge transfer and supporting less experienced colleagues
• Independent, structured and solution-oriented way of working
• High quality awareness and strong teamwork skills
• Good German language skills in spoken and written form
• Confident handling of MS Office as well as ideally experience with ERP systems
