La Fondation Saphir, multi-mission and multi-site foundation (psychogériatrie, gériatrie, psychiatrie adulte), is active in the medico-social field in the canton of Vaud and in the reception and support of people weakened in their physical and mental integrity during their life process. To support our service as part of a maternity leave replacement, we are looking for our establishment EMS Mont-Riant in Yverdon-les-Bains, which welcomes 56 People and is specialized in the field of geriatric psychiatry: Nurse (F/M/D) Permanent Contract at 80% - EMS Mont-Riant Regardless of their function, the professionals of Fondation Saphir have a common goal: to support People on a daily basis to allow them to concretely experience the institutional strategy of services "like at home". That is to say, to maintain their habits as much as possible, to offer a response adapted to their wishes and, through real interprofessional collaboration, to allow the well-being and happiness of the People. As a nurse, you ensure preventive, therapeutic, rehabilitation, and palliative nursing care under the supervision of the support manager and the doctor. You have a continuous reflective practice that allows you to evaluate and analyze, among other things, the biopsychosocial and spiritual dimensions of the People. You manage all medical emergencies and will activate emergency procedures as needed. Furthermore, you participate in examinations and observations with a view to medical diagnosis. Due to your values centered on the Person, you establish a relationship of trust with the People and their surroundings, by creating a safe environment adapted to their needs.
