Vocational Guidance Counselor Job Description Join our team as a vocational guidance counselor! Passionate about supporting young people in their future choices, you will play a key role in helping them build a solid and informed professional project. In this function, you will conduct individual guidance interviews, lead workshops and classroom interventions, and collaborate closely with school, training, and professional partners. You will thus contribute to supporting students at the end of compulsory schooling or in transition at a crucial stage in their career. Responsibilities Conduct counseling consultations based on demand and needs with a view to developing a training or integration project. Support and accompany students in implementing the means useful for achieving this project Ensure administrative follow-up (consultant files, various indicators, reports, ...) Inform and respond to information requests from the target audience Maintain close collaboration with school, Transition (T1), and professional partners. Update knowledge and contribute to enriching the knowledge and practices of vocational guidance counselors. Qualifications Master of Science (MSC) in psychology, option counseling and orientation or specialized training in vocational guidance, university and career training provided by a university or institution recognized by the SEFRI required. Master of Advanced Studies (MAS) in management, human resources management and career or equivalent training desired. Relevant professional experience Good knowledge of the regional economic fabric Good knowledge of the Swiss and Vaudois training system Animation skills Basic computer user knowledge required Driving license necessary Disclosure of any criminal record is required for this function.
