Transport Coordinator Less Than Truckload Logistics 100%

Tasks:

• Independent planning, control, and monitoring of less than truckload transports
• Efficient dispatching and optimal utilization of available vehicles and transport capacities
• Coordination and deployment planning of drivers considering operational and legal requirements
• Continuous monitoring of tours, deadlines, and transport orders
• Short-term adjustment of dispatching in case of delays, cancellations, additional orders, or other deviations
• Ensuring an economical and smooth transport process
• Close cooperation and daily exchange with drivers, customers, and internal contact persons
• Control and processing of transport-related order and accompanying documents
• Monitoring and optimization of existing processes within transport dispatching
• Active participation in the improvement of processes, utilization, and transport quality
• Support with topics related to fleet, vehicle availability, and deployment planning

Requirements:

• Completed training in the field of transport, logistics, or freight forwarding, ideally with corresponding further training
• Several years of professional experience in transport dispatching or less than truckload logistics
• Sound experience in tour planning as well as dispatching of drivers and vehicles
• Very good geographical knowledge of Switzerland
• Good knowledge of the processes and regulations in road transport
• Organizational talent, economic thinking, and strong problem-solving skills
• Resilient, decisive, and assertive personality
• Independent, structured, and responsible way of working
• Good IT user skills
• Leadership experience and driving license Cat. C/CE an advantage
