The Portfolio Analyst supports a commodity team by conducting detailed research and analysis of global energy markets.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct detailed research and analysis of global energy markets, specialising in European and Asian gas markets.
Analyse supply-and-demand fundamentals, including LNG flows, storage levels, consumption trends and infrastructure developments.
Build, maintain and enhance analytical models used to assess market pricing, transportation costs and the economics of moving and storing gas.
Monitor and evaluate the impact of geopolitical events, regulatory changes and wider market developments on energy prices and trading opportunities.
Produce clear, timely and actionable market insights to support the desk’s trading strategies and decision-making.
Identify emerging market risks and opportunities, communicating relevant findings effectively to traders and other key stakeholders.
