The Office for Informatics (AFI) is the IT competence center of the Canton of Zürich. It provides comprehensive services in the area of central IT infrastructure and canton-wide applications for the directorates, authorities, judiciary, and independent institutions. Commissioned with the implementation of the new Information and Communication Technology (ICT) strategy, the Office for Informatics accompanies and supports the Canton of Zürich into the digital world. As a team leader - Mail & Media, you take on the responsibility for a specialized team and central communication and collaboration services of the Canton of Zürich. Together with your team, you ensure a secure and stable operation, drive new technologies forward, and actively shape the digital collaboration of the cantonal administration. In addition to providing a robust and stable communication platform based on HCL and Exchange, we also ensure that the room technology in the administration functions reliably. Your tasks: • You lead the Mail & Media team technically and personally and continuously develop it further. • As a service owner, you are responsible for the central communication and collaboration services of the Canton of Zürich. • Together with your team, you ensure a secure, stable, and economical operation of the responsible platforms. • You drive the further development of services, architectures, and processes and deploy new technologies in a targeted manner. • You advise internal customers, develop concepts, and accompany their implementation. • You control external service providers, work on projects, and actively contribute to the strategic further development of the area. Your profile: • Completed studies or equivalent training in the field of informatics. • Several years of experience in the operation and further development of Microsoft and M365 platforms. • Leadership experience or the motivation to take the next career step into a leadership role. • Knowledge of ITIL and service management processes. • Knowledge of encryption technologies and secure transmission routes (TCP/IP) • Interest in cloud technologies, automation, and modern IT architectures. • Networked thinking, consulting strength, and enjoyment of collaboration with different stakeholder groups.
