The Federal Institute of Metrology METAS is the reference institute for measurements and measuring instruments in Switzerland. To ensure that a liter is always a liter (e.g. when refueling), METAS carries out calibrations, conformity assessments and consultations for industry, research and administration. Measurement accuracy creates trust, especially at a societal and political level, and is essential in many areas: in road traffic, in electricity billing, in time transfer, in measurements in the environmental and health sectors, etc. At METAS, different specialist fields meet and complement each other – and this since 1862.
Your tasks
Responsible for the conception, construction and operation of cloud platforms, especially SaaS including support with incident, change and problem management
Collaboration with internal specialist departments and external service providers as well as the creation and maintenance of technical documentation
Administration and configuration of: Entra ID, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, Intune / Endpoint Management, Exchange Online, Conditional Access and security functions
Technical support of external partners during the design, implementation and migration phase
Your profile
Completed vocational training as an Informatiker/in EFZ supplemented with corresponding further training (e.g. HF in IT or comparable qualification) as well as several years of experience in the engineering and operation of cloud platforms, especially Microsoft 365, Azure and AWS
Very good knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure and knowledge of AWS. Experience with other cloud platforms as well as OnPrem systems, Open Source Tech Stack and IT security is an advantage
Service-oriented, committed and reliable personality with strong team spirit and willingness to perform on-call duty
You communicate confidently in an official language (German or French) and have good knowledge of a second official language, supplemented by solid English skills
