Your main tasks
Independent operational processing of international seafreight shipments in import and export
Organization, coordination and monitoring of complex transport chains
Planning and processing of special and project shipments
Support and advice for customers in day-to-day business
Communication and coordination with international agents, partners and service providers
Creation, control and administration of transport documents as well as customs documents
Ensuring smooth transport processes as well as deadline monitoring
Communication and coordination with shipping lines as well as other transport partners
Control of costs, freight rates and transport conditions
Support in the optimization of operational processes and workflows
Ensuring compliance with customs, compliance and dangerous goods regulations

Your profile
Several years of professional experience in the international seafreight business of a freight forwarding logistics company (approx. 10 years or more)
Sound experience in the operational processing of seafreight import and export
Experience in the organization of complex transports and project shipments an advantage
Very good knowledge of international transport processes and documentation
Confident handling of customs processes and shipping documents
Independent, structured and solution-oriented way of working
High customer orientation and communication strength
Confident handling of MS Office as well as freight forwarding or logistics software
Very good German skills as well as good English skills
