Deputy Team Leader: Sorting Logistics

For our Briefzentrum Zürich-Mülligen, we are looking for a dynamic and committed personality who wants to take on the role of Deputy Team Lead in the "Sortierlogistik" team. With you as Deputy Team Leader, our employees are in best hands and we continue to succeed in processing approx. 5.5 million letters and parcels every day.

What you can achieve

• Together with the team management, you lead and develop a team of around 20 employees in sorting logistics.
• As part of a leadership duo or trio, you strengthen exchange, cooperation, and team cohesion.
• Together with your team, you ensure the high-quality processing of unprocessable and defective mail items.
• You undertake leadership tasks independently and represent the team management during absences.
• You accompany new employees during their induction and support them in finding their way quickly within the team and in their tasks.

What you bring with you

• You have completed a basic training EFZ, ideally in logistics, and possess the Leadership-Zertifikat or bring the willingness to obtain this later.
• Thanks to your experience in logistics, you know the requirements of an operational business and want to develop further in a leadership role.
• Taking on responsibility comes easily to you and you convince as an appreciative and reliable role model for your team.
• With your organizational talent, your planning strength, and your good MS-Office skills, you maintain an overview even in demanding situations.
• Very good oral German skills as well as the willingness to work in the permanent night shift (between 20.00 - 06.00, incl. regular Sunday shifts) round off your profile.
