Your new role
This varied position within the Amt für Baubewilligungen includes the assessment of building permit documents, the drafting of building and fire police consultations for the building permit decision, as well as the support, monitoring, and control of various construction projects from the issuance of the building permit until the construction acceptance within an assigned area. To this end, you perform timely structural control tasks, ensure compliance with legal requirements, and issue conditions.

Your focus lies on legal regulations, standards, and the conditions from the building permit, and you check these requirements appropriately during construction inspections.
You can recognize essential aspects on the construction site due to your experience, are communicative, and have healthy assertiveness.
You bring training as a Bauführer/in or a comparable professional background in a construction-related profession or administration and have professional experience.
Ideally, you have been able to acquire knowledge in the field of fire protection (Brandschutzfachmann VKF), or are willing to acquire this with our support.
You bring a high level of reliability and a high degree of self-organization.
You can express yourself accurately orally and in writing.

The Amt für Baubewilligungen is part of the Direktion Planung und Bau of the city administration. It accompanies planners and those wishing to build throughout the entire process of the building permit procedure, carries it out, decides on building applications, and submits applications to the Baubewilligungskommission. Additionally, our department is responsible for compliance with building regulations.
In this field of activity, the Abteilung Bauaufsicht plays a key role in controlling building regulations and conditions, including for fire, civil, and water protection.
In the Amt für Baubewilligungen, in addition to the Bauaufsicht, the Abteilung Dienste, the Bauberatung, and the Sekretariat der Baubewilligungskommission are also integrated.
