The Radiology and Nuclear Medicine network operates a complex radiology-specific application, integration, and system landscape at several locations. It supports clinical processes from registration and scheduling through image management and reporting to secure information exchange. In digital further development, the introduction of new core systems, and the integration of additional locations, IT Radiology has central strategic importance. For the leadership and further development of this area, we are looking for an experienced leader as Head of IT Radiology. In this key role, you bear the overall technical responsibility for the network's radiology-specific IT landscape. You lead the IT Radiology area and connect clinical requirements, technology, operations, and corporate development.

Your tasks and perspectives ##

• Technical and disciplinary management of IT Radiology including team development and strategic orientation
• Control of the application portfolio and ensuring stable, secure, and economical IT operations
• Management of complex transformation projects as well as evaluation and introduction of new technologies, especially Artificial Intelligence
• Responsibility for investment planning, contract, supplier, and escalation management
• Ensuring data protection and IT security as well as IT-side integration of new partner organizations and locations

What you bring for this position ##

• Sound informatics education; ideally a university or university of applied sciences degree in medical informatics or a comparable field
• Several years of experience in healthcare, ideally in IT Radiology as well as understanding of clinical processes
• Proven management of complex transformation and integration projects as well as sound experience in project management
• Good understanding of application and integration architectures, IT Service Management, data protection, and information security
• Convincing communication, negotiation skills, and a reliable appearance
