The Effingerhort above Holderbank AG is an institution of the Von Effinger Stiftung for inpatient addiction therapy in the Canton of Aargau. People with physical, mental, and social impairments with a long-term background of alcohol or drug use are professionally supported with a low-threshold concept. In addition to the abstinence-oriented residential offers, we operate a specialized nursing home with controlled alcohol dispensing (kT55+).

To reinforce our night shift, we are looking for an engaged personality per immediately or by arrangement as

Your Tasks

You work together with a registered nurse HF in the night shift and contribute to enabling our residents to have a safe, quiet, and well-structured night. Your tasks specifically include:

• Care and support of the residents during the night
• Support with toileting, repositioning, and basic nursing activities
• Carrying out inspection rounds
• Observing and passing on changes in well-being or behavior
• Support in challenging situations and during crises
• Documentation of relevant observations
• Assistance with preparation and handover to the day shift
• Minor domestic and organizational tasks during the night
• For medical or psychiatric questions, the registered nurse HF is by your side during the night shift.

Your Profile

• Training as an Assistant for Health and Social Care AGS, Nursing Assistant SRK or comparable experience is an advantage
• motivated career changers are also welcome if they have the appropriate suitability
• Joy in working with people with an addiction disorder, mental illnesses, and care needs
• a calm, reliable, and responsible way of working
• resilience and the ability to act calmly even in demanding situations
• respectful and appreciative communication
• readiness for regular night, weekend, and holiday shifts
• basic PC skills for electronic documentation
