With the new Police Centre Bern (PZB) in Niederwangen, we are creating a modern and long-term infrastructure for the Bern Cantonal Police. Would you like to help shape the future operation already during the realisation and take on responsibility for facility management after commissioning? In this key position, you combine project work, technology and leadership. ###

Your tasks

• Represent the operational interests of the Bern Cantonal Police vis-à-vis the client, internal stakeholders and external partners
• Support the new construction project in the areas of facility management, maintenance, building technology (HVACSE), MSRL and BIM
• Develop an efficient and sustainable operational organisation with clear roles, processes, services as well as internal and external resources
• Plan and coordinate the relocation of the various organisational units
• Take over the professional, organisational and personnel management of the Facility Management PZB area after commissioning
• Prepare operating budgets, concepts, decision-making bases as well as public tenders and procurements
• Ensure reliable operation, functionality and preservation of value of the properties (focus on PZB) and support further projects in the building technology department

Your profile

• Tertiary qualification in facility management, electrical or building technology or a comparable qualification
• Broad knowledge in facility management and building technology, ideally in HVACSE, MSRL and BIM
• Proven leadership and project management experience as well as ideally knowledge of the HERMES method
• Experience in budget and cost centre responsibility
• Conceptual strength, business understanding and a forward-looking, solution-oriented working style
• Convincing communication, negotiation skills and an appreciative, assertive leadership style
• Very good German and good French skills
• Willingness to work outside office hours and to take on on-call duty
