Tasks

• Conception, implementation and optimization of security controls via EDR, NDR, DLP, email security and vulnerability management to strengthen the security architecture
• Use of sound technical know-how in cloud technologies, Kubernetes and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to develop scalable and secure solutions
• Close cooperation with the SOC to further develop detection and response capabilities and to continuously improve cyber resilience
• Advising and supporting stakeholders on all issues regarding cybersecurity and fulfilling the role as a trusted specialist
• Managing the implementation of security measures within the agile delivery framework and achieving results even in complex environments with diverse stakeholders
• Ongoing analysis of the threat landscape and industry trends in the cyber sector, assessment of the associated risks and derivation of suitable adjustments for the security solutions used

We are a leading company in the field of credit card processing in Switzerland. To strengthen our IT Security & Risk team, we are looking for an experienced Cyber Security Engineer (m/f/d) who will take our security tools to the next level together with the team colleagues.

Skills and experience

• completed studies in computer science, IT security or a comparable qualification
• several years of experience in the field of cyber security, ideally in a highly regulated environment
• very good knowledge of modern security technologies (e.g., vulnerability management, network security, endpoint detection, email and cloud security, hardening)
• practice in Linux engineering with a focus on Linux systems; experience with Windows environments is desirable
• strong analytical thinking as well as strong communication and persuasion skills
• experience with the implementation of PCI-DSS requirements as well as certifications such as CISSP, CCSP (Certified Cloud Security Professional) or comparable are a plus
• high affinity for complex connections, independent, reliable and communicative way of working
• Very good German and English skills in spoken and written form
