Plant Technician/Automation Technician Electrical

About the position

Our client, a leading company in the energy industry, is looking for a plant technician/automation technician for the Aarau region, starting immediately or by arrangement.
Generators, electric motors, frequency converters, PLC, crane systems: You will work on sophisticated systems that contribute to a safe power supply during ongoing operation, and you will see directly what your work achieves. You are part of a well-coordinated team and work close to the plant. You think ahead, question existing solutions, and develop them further together with your colleagues. During overhauls, you perform functional tests and have the opportunity to participate in replacement and renewal projects.

Your tasks

• Maintain rotating machines, drives, and controls
• Maintain special systems such as crane systems, loading and lock systems, as well as generators
• Implement optimizations on existing systems and document them
• Perform functional tests during overhauls and troubleshoot malfunctions
• Accompany renewal and replacement projects

Your profile

• Completed apprenticeship as Automatiker EFZ or Elektromechaniker EFZ, further qualification an advantage
• Initial experience with PLC, drive technology, electric motors, and frequency converters
• Analytical, structured, and reliable personality
• Openness to new technologies
