Ensuring high audio quality in every life situation and offering the best hearing performance experience to our customers is the primary goal of this team. To further improve the development and testing of audio quality and hearing performance in realistic scenarios, particularly during phone calls, we are looking for a motivated intern to join our team in Stäfa for a duration of up to six months. Your tasks • Familiarize yourself with existing hardware and software configurations used to evaluate audio quality during phone calls • Configure and use Sonova hearing aids, smartphones, and laboratory equipment for audio quality during hands-free calls • Create, modify, and maintain measurement objects and test configurations for audio quality evaluations • Perform measurements and tests to evaluate the audio processing performance of phone calls with selected models of smartphones and hearing devices • Analyze measurement results using existing software tools and support customization via basic Python scripts • Clearly document test procedures, results, and recommendations for team members and stakeholders Your profile • BSc or MSc in electrical engineering, computer science, acoustic engineering, signal processing, or a related field • Interest in audio technologies, signal processing, telecommunications, acoustics, or hearing systems • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently • Basic Python programming skills are an advantage • Experience in an acoustic laboratory or with audio equipment is a plus • Fluent English What we offer As one of the leading global hearing care providers based in Switzerland, we are committed to building an inclusive culture.
