What you can contribute

• Responsible for the organization of sports examinations in accordance with the directives of the Federal Office of Sport
• Conduct the fitness test for recruitment (TFR) with conscripts (warm-up and test phases) and ensure the entry of sports results
• Prepare sports equipment (including checking functionality)
• Ensure the follow-up of the TFR (reporting defects, tidying the sports hall) and handle any administrative tasks

In a few words

Army Personnel accompanies all military personnel from recruitment until the release from the obligation to serve. The recruitment command ensures the selection of future soldiers and civil protection members and assigns them an appropriate function. In this context, the aim is to find the best balance between, on the one hand, the aptitudes and aspirations of the conscripts and, on the other hand, the needs of the army.
You provide support during the sports examinations of the conscripts at the Rüti Recruitment Center and assume responsibility for the entry of results.

The Instruction Command (cdmt Instr) is responsible for instruction within the Swiss Army -- from recruitment to the training of militia cadres and career soldiers, including general basic instruction. The cdmt Instr includes Higher Cadre Training, Army Personnel, five application training centers, the Army Instruction Center as well as the specialized service Women in the Army and diversity. One third of the approximately 2350 employees practice civilian professions in the scientific, technical, medical, psychological, administrative or sports fields and, along with career soldiers, contribute to the success of the army.

The Swiss Army employs more than 9000 female and male employees in four military professions and approximately 200 civilian professions, across 110 sites throughout Switzerland. It also ensures succession by training apprentices in more than 30 trades.
