Your tasks: Monitoring and ensuring the smooth operation of a manufacturing cell in shaft production Continuous responsibility for the entire manufacturing process consisting of several machines (turning, grinding, measuring) Systematic and sustainable solving of operationally relevant errors Independent acting as a technical expert regarding the processes and machines Optimization of the overall process of shaft production Problem-solving competence: ability to analyze malfunctions and resolve them independently or promptly involve external suppliers Effortless handling of in-depth root cause analyses in manufacturing technology and IT systems (SAP, MES, control systems) Implementation of continuous process improvements (CIPs) Participation in projects (e.g., replacement investments, new investments, L6S projects etc.) Coordination with OEMs on technical questions Shift work required Your profile: Completed vocational training as a polymechanic, industrial mechanic, or toolmaker is required Several years of experience in an industrial environment and production of rotationally symmetrical workpieces with turning and grinding Experience in setting up and operating manufacturing cells and individual systems (turning, grinding, measuring) Reading and interpreting workshop drawings and NC code (Siemens control), including writing NC code Knowledge in handling automation is desirable: robots (e.g., ABB, Fanuc, Kuka), sensor technology and PLC controls Understanding of IT systems such as control systems and MES, basics of Industry 4.0 and intelligent processes Enthusiasm for data analysis and interpretation of statistical evaluations and deriving corresponding measures Readiness for shift work High commitment, resilience and quality awareness are required Very good technical understanding and high organizational skills Good German language skills, spoken and written Your benefits: International and dynamic working environment Global parental leave program Canteen Childcare Attractive vacation plans Employee assistance program We look forward to your application (preferably in English).
