Technician for Service Deployments (m/w/d)

At a glance As a Service and Qualification Technician in a dynamic team, your area of responsibility lies in the professional assembly and commissioning of high-tech laboratory workbenches and cleanroom systems for our customers. In addition to this core task, you will carry out relocations, take care of service work including repairs, and conduct qualifications on our highly developed systems directly at our customers' premises. You will regularly work in demanding laboratory and cleanroom environments. You do not necessarily need to have the necessary technical knowledge, as we will prepare you comprehensively and intensively for all upcoming deployments. Your field of activity covers the regions of Bern, Lausanne, and Valais. Therefore, your place of residence is ideally located in this deployment area. If a return on a working day is not feasible, overnight stays will be arranged directly at the deployment location. You will work hand in hand with motivated and extremely helpful colleagues, while your supervisor will support you to the best of their ability to ensure the smooth execution of your tasks. Tasks • Assembly and commissioning of new systems, mostly in laboratory environments in the region between Bern, Lausanne, and Valais (including safety workbenches and cleanroom systems) • Maintenance, repairs, and relocations of existing systems at our customers' premises • Room decontamination • Qualification of cleanrooms, cleanroom technical systems, and laboratory equipment • Support and consulting for our demanding customers in the laboratory technical environment in Switzerland Hardskills • Completed technical vocational training (e.g., electrical engineering, mechanics, mechatronics, HLK, building services, or comparable) • Ideally, several years of professional experience as a service and maintenance technician or in technical field service • Experience in the GMP environment and in the field of calibration and/or qualification of systems is an advantage • Good MS-Office skills • Very good German language skills are mandatory; French language skills are particularly advantageous for deployments in the Lausanne region • Driver's license category B is mandatory • Place of residence ideally located in the region between Bern, Lausanne, and Valais Softskills • Independent, reliable, and solution-oriented work • High customer and service orientation • Self-responsible work and pronounced quality awareness • Openness to working in different laboratory and cleanroom environments • High willingness to travel within the deployment area • Willingness to spend around 60 nights away from home per year We offer • An open and collegial corporate culture • Freedom for ideas • Participation in sports and leisure activities • Promotion through further education, particularly at our SKAN Academy • Intensive and job-oriented training • Short decision-making processes and flat hierarchies • Open communication policy • 5 weeks of vacation and the possibility of additional vacation days Further information We look forward to receiving your complete application documents (CV, diplomas, and work certificates), which you can submit directly through our career page.
