Attached to the Directorate of Security, Justice and Sports, the Fribourg Cantonal Police has the general mission of ensuring public security, maintaining order and enforcing laws. Your missions Define and ensure, within the framework of your competences, the operational and organizational management of the gendarmerie corps Supervise and direct your staff, while coordinating and prioritizing the objectives and efforts of the subordinate units Promote a culture of trust, responsibility and subsidiarity within the gendarmerie Take all measures and decisions that allow the execution of the mission entrusted by the law on the Cantonal Police and legislation Cooperate with the security police and the divisions of the cantonal police as well as the different partner services Represent the Fribourg cantonal police in different working groups at the cantonal, national or international level Establish the budget of the corps and propose the acquisition of new technical means Ensure the updating of knowledge of collaborators in terms of tactics Ensure, as a representative of the staff, permanent services as a cantonal police officer Desired profile You hold a federal police officer's certificate and/or a title issued by a university of applied sciences with the CAS CEP training provided by the Swiss Police Institute and/or are a graduate of a university, a university of applied sciences or have followed training deemed equivalent You are of Swiss nationality You have proven managerial, social and organizational skills as well as experience in project management and in a management function You are recognized for your ability to empower your collaborators, to promote initiative and to develop a climate of trust You have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a police officer You have a marked interest in security fields You demonstrate great availability, resistance to stress and autonomy in your work You master the German or French language with very good knowledge of the partner language Contact person's coordinates Lt-col Gallus Risse Head of the Gendarmerie T jpid7ddbebejm jit0626jm jiy26jm
