As a Senior SAP Solution Architect, you play a key role in the development of our SAP platform, which is critical for the company. You are responsible for the architecture of complex SAP solutions and actively contribute to the strategic evolution of our SAP environment. In this context, you collaborate closely with business units, external implementation partners, as well as internal architecture and operations teams. You also ensure the technical direction of demanding SAP projects. You translate business needs into sustainable solution architectures and accompany their implementation from the initial idea to their successful production launch. You combine strategic thinking and technical expertise. You work in close collaboration with our SAP specialists, Service Owners, project managers, external implementation partners, operations teams, and Enterprise Architects. You define the principles and standards for the design of solution architectures and platforms within your Business Unit, while collaborating with other IT departments.

You are passionate about the continuous improvement of SAP operations and excel in system analysis and design, leadership, platform architecture, and governance. You are responsible for the solution architectures within the SAP landscape and, together with Enterprise Architecture and the architects of neighboring platforms, ensure their integration into the global IT architecture. Your responsibilities:

• Develop the SAP platform architecture and contribute to the definition as well as the implementation of Swissgrid's SAP strategy
• Design end-to-end solution architectures for SAP S/4HANA, SAP Cloud applications, and related systems, including their integration with third-party systems
• Ensure the technical direction of SAP projects and integration initiatives, as well as responsibility for technical designs throughout the project lifecycle
• Participate in the technical implementation of complex initiatives by developing prototypes, integration concepts, technical specifications, and advanced solutions
• Advise and support Service Owners as well as business units on complex issues, particularly in the areas of Finance, Controlling, Procurement, and Asset Management
• Use and develop the SAP Business Technology Platform while identifying and evaluating new technological trends to meet the future needs of the company
• Evolve SAP governance and ensure compliance with architecture principles, standards, quality requirements, and data architecture guidelines in close collaboration with Enterprise Architecture

• University degree in computer science, management information systems, or equivalent training
• Several years of experience as a SAP Solution Architect, SAP Enterprise Architect, SAP Technical Lead, or in a similar function
• Deep expertise in at least one of our main SAP modules (FI/CO, SD, HR, MM, etc.)
• Solid knowledge of SAP architecture principles, integrations (e.g., REST, OData, Business APIs), data models, and governance processes
• Experience in the technical direction of SAP initiatives as well as in collaboration with external implementation and operations partners
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and coordination skills, combined with solid pragmatism
• Very good knowledge of German and English; knowledge of French is an asset
